Mission of the Joe Lang Foundation

The Joe Lang Foundation was created by the Lang children in memory of their late father, Joe Lang. The Foundation was setup to enrich the lives of under privileged children. Functioning out of Buffalo, NY.

The Joe Lang Foundation (JLF) was initially launched in an effort to fund the Eggertsville
Youth Center and build the Joe Lang gym. We succesfully completed that task in March 2008.

The Youth Center became the new home to the Boys and Girls Club of Buffalo, located at 4110
Bailey Ave. In order to build the Youth Center and the Joe Lang Gym, The JLF raised 100K through fund raising at the first St Joseph's Table , holding the Joe Lang Day - which was led by Donnie Pappas May 2007 who had passed away 3 months later (Joe's dearest Friend). A Bingtone's Concert in October 2007, and the Kids putting up the first $25K of their own money.

To date the foundation has worked with many local organizations who share in the same vision to enhance the lives of children in need and at risk young adults. Such partnerships are with Christian Alliance, Computers for Children, Boys and Girls Clubs of Buffalo, Morlock Foundation, Child and Family Services, Cradle Beach, Carly's Club, Saint Vincent DePaul Society, Catholic Charities, Salvation Army, Giving Tree, Educators of America and many more.
